Rotational grazing boosts cattle productivity and environmental conservation in the US.
Rotational grazing offers benefits to cattle producers in the humid eastern US, such as improved animal productivity, plant persistence, resource conservation, and animal temperament. Contrary to some claims, it does not lead to doubling or tripling stocking rates or eliminating fertilizer inputs. The information in this article is based on a three-year grazing study conducted at the University of Georgia and insights from Southern Forages (3rd ed).
