Colombian oil production surges with new pipeline extension to Caribbean Sea.
A new oil pipeline in Colombia, called Ocensa, has started operating to increase oil production and exports. The pipeline is almost 500 miles long and can carry up to 320,000 barrels of oil per day. By the end of the year, it will be able to transport 556,000 barrels per day. This new system will help boost Colombia's oil production and improve its ability to export oil to other countries.
