A study evaluated 57 types of dolichos beans for their pod yield and traits. They found differences in traits like pod length, width, weight, and color. Some beans flowered and matured faster than others. The beans with the highest pod yield were IIHR 150 and IIHR 159. Different pod colors were observed, with most beans having green pods. This study shows that there is a wide variety of dolichos beans with different pod characteristics, which can be useful for breeding new high-yielding varieties.
