The goal of the study was to develop a model to predict avionics embedded software support costs. The researchers found that the model is feasible and will include six key resource types needed for avionics software support. They identified some initial estimating relationships and created a roadmap for further model development. Phase II of the program will focus on creating an operational model for predicting these costs.
