Traditional Indian Clothing Revolutionizes 21st Century Fashion Design World.
The study analyzed Indian traditional clothing in 21st-century fashion design by comparing items from Indian and Western designers. They found that Indian elements were added to Western clothing in 83% of Western collections and 27.2% of Indian designers' collections. Indian designers focused more on traditional clothing forms, while Western designers incorporated Indian traditional images. Changes included modernizing saris, using traditional items in new ways, and adding Indian colors and patterns to Western clothing. Indian looks were expressed through traditional ornaments and fabric designs.
