Wind turbine wakes were studied in different wind conditions. Stable air above the turbine affects the wake. In stable conditions, the wake grows slower and reaches a height limit. Temperature and heat transfer increase in the wake. Unstable conditions lead to faster wake reduction and more turbulence. The depth of the unstable layer is important for the wake behavior.
