Particle-size distribution in soil is important for understanding water retention and flow. A new method was developed to estimate this distribution using sand, silt, and clay content. By fitting a model to measured data, researchers accurately predicted the distribution for different soil textures. The method showed high accuracy with low error values, indicating its effectiveness in estimating particle-size distribution from limited data points.
