The article analyzes the Brazilian economy from 1980 onwards. It shows that despite strong growth rates, unemployment remained high due to a recession. Brazil needs to maintain a strong balance in trade to manage its debt. The study suggests that certain sectors need focus for improvement and that policy decisions will play a crucial role in the country's economic future.
