Trust between coworkers evolves over time, with early trust based on roles and rules, and later trust on personal cues. A study with 193 participants showed that intentions to rely on and disclose information increase over time in a non-linear pattern. Trust propensity affects initial trust intentions but not changes over time. Different trust cues become more important as relationships mature.
