Public-private partnerships in real estate development are seen as a way to solve social issues, but concerns exist about stakeholder involvement and power imbalances. A study of urban planners' attitudes towards these partnerships found that their age, education, gender, race, political beliefs, and sector of employment influence their views. The research aims to determine if planners support partnerships and if diversity in the planning profession is crucial for considering community interests. The study suggests that planners' personal and professional backgrounds impact their perceptions of collaborative efforts in urban planning.
