The article explores the connection between energy use and economic growth in D8 countries. By using various statistical methods, the researchers found that there is a significant relationship between energy consumption and economic development in these countries. The results show that energy use impacts economic growth, either in one direction or both, except for Indonesia where no clear causality was found in the short term.
