Revolutionizing Rice-Wheat Farming: Boosting Productivity and Soil Health Naturally
A study was done to see how different combinations of plant nutrients affect rice and wheat growth. They used things like crop residues, manure, and biofertilizers. The results showed that using a mix of organic and inorganic nutrients gave the best crop productivity and soil health. Some combinations, like using farmyard manure and biofertilizers, were even better than just using organic nutrients. The study also found that adding these nutrients improved the soil's organic carbon levels. However, there was a negative balance of potassium in the soil, especially when only inorganic nutrients were used. Overall, a mix of organic and inorganic nutrients seems to be the best way to grow rice and wheat effectively.
