Urban density is crucial in understanding how cities work. Higher density cities are thought to be more sustainable, but some argue they have negative impacts. This study used Remote Sensing and GIS to measure urban sprawl in Kuala Lumpur. By analyzing high and low density areas, it was found that Kuala Lumpur is sprawling. This research can help city planners address urban sprawl issues in the future.
