Ivory Coast's Agricultural Transformation Promises Prosperity for Millions
The Ivory Coast's agricultural sector was studied using a multilevel programming approach. The economy was divided into three main sectors: rural Northern, rural Southern, and Urban, with a central model to allocate resources. The model used linear programming techniques and included demand curves, labor supply, and multilevel programming. Results showed the model's flexibility due to technological constraints and the use of demand and supply curves. Statistical results were presented in tables and figures, with additional data in annexes.
