FIRB planting boosts wheat yield by 50% with integrated nutrient management
A study looked at how different ways of planting wheat and managing nutrients affect root growth and grain yield. They found that a planting system called FIRB led to better root growth compared to the conventional system. Also, using a mix of nutrients like RDF, FYM, biofertilizer, and zinc resulted in higher wheat yields than just using RDF alone. Overall, the FIRB planting system and the nutrient mix of RDF, FYM, biofertilizer, and zinc gave the best results for root growth and wheat yield.
