Streamlined Design Breakthroughs Revolutionize Complex Engineering, Enhancing Product Functionality
The article presents a method to analyze complex engineering design problems by combining two theories: Axiomatic Design and TRIZ. The goal is to identify and understand how different requirements in a design are connected, which can make the design process more challenging. By using this methodology, engineers can better address these coupling issues and improve the conceptual design of products and systems. An example is provided to illustrate how this approach can be applied in practice.
