Nepal's Trade Potential Soars, Reshaping Economic Landscape with India and China
In this research, scientists studied how much Nepal could trade with other countries in 2009 using the gravity model. This model says that trade between countries depends on their sizes and how close they are. By crunching numbers for 19 major trading partners, they found that Nepal has traded more than expected with 10 countries, like India and China, while there's room to trade more with 9 others, like Bangladesh. It's kind of like Nepal has been selling well with some countries but could sell even more with others.
