Performance measurement and management in collaborative networks is crucial for success. A study focused on designing a system to measure and manage performance in a Finnish collaborative network found that involving all partners in the process, fostering a positive network culture, and using outside facilitators positively impacted the design process. The results showed that using a performance measurement system improved trust, transparency, and overall network performance. The study also introduced a management model to evaluate the maturity of performance management in collaborative networks.
