The article evaluates the performance of different gas turbine and gasifier-based power generation systems. By using computer simulations, researchers found that the system based on the 7H gas turbine is more efficient and emits less CO2 than the one based on the 7FA gas turbine. They also discovered that integrating the air separation unit and gas turbine leads to higher efficiency and lower costs. Uncertainty analysis showed that the 7H system is superior despite potential input uncertainties. The study recommends developing more standard systems for better comparison and benchmarking.
