The study looked at how the COVID-19 pandemic affected people's trust in the European Union. They wanted to see if trust decreased during the pandemic compared to before. They used data from a survey called the Eurobarometer and analyzed it using statistics. Surprisingly, the results showed that overall trust in the EU did not go down during the pandemic. However, there were differences between countries that were not explored in this study. More research is needed to understand why some countries had different levels of trust in the EU during the pandemic.
