Climate Change Threatens Catastrophic Impacts Worldwide, Urgent Action Needed
Global climate change is a big problem caused by gases trapping heat in the atmosphere. Developed countries have emitted a lot in the past, but developing countries will emit more in the future. If we don't act, the global temperature could rise by more than 3°C. This could mess up weather patterns and cause sudden big climate changes. It will cost money to fix this, but not fixing it will cost even more in the long run. Poor countries will be hit the hardest. To meet the goals set in the Paris Climate Agreement, we need to make big changes to how we use energy and reduce carbon emissions.
