Vietnamese and Korean companies show no cultural differences in organizational performance.
The study compared how Vietnamese workers in Vietnamese companies and Korean-invested companies perceive their organizational cultures and how these cultures affect organizational performance. Data from 287 workers in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby areas were analyzed. The study found no significant differences in organizational culture between Vietnamese and Korean-invested companies. Strong hierarchical or relational innovative cultures were associated with higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Additionally, industry type influenced job satisfaction, while job tenure, workplace skills, and investor factors influenced organizational commitment.
