Paper Summary

The article analyzes Ukraine's public debt from 2016 to 2020, focusing on its types and trends. The study shows that the total debt grew annually by UAH 195.95 billion, with the state external debt increasing from UAH 980.19 billion to UAH 1258.52 billion. The share of public debt in GDP decreased from 81.0% in 2016 to 50.3% in 2019, but rose to 60.8% in 2020.
