The article looks at how people in China move up or down in social class over generations. They used surveys from 2010 to 2015 to study this. They found that more people are moving up in class than down. Young men are finding it harder to move up compared to older men. The gap between city and countryside is getting smaller, but differences between job types are getting bigger.
