High CSR Investment Linked to Higher Business Performance, Study Finds.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is seen as an investment rather than a cost, with companies increasingly focusing on meeting social demands. By analyzing data from the top 150 companies in South Korea over three years, it was found that higher CSR investment leads to better business performance. The study also highlighted the importance of balancing CSR activities to enhance the overall impact of social responsibility efforts. This research expands the understanding of CSR by using both structured (CSR investment) and unstructured (CSR activities) data to identify effective management strategies for companies in the future.
