New herbicide alternatives effectively control glyphosate-resistant horseweed at early stages.
The study looked at different herbicides to control tough weeds called Conyza spp. that are resistant to a common herbicide called glyphosate. They tested various herbicides on these weeds at different heights. The results showed that glyphosate alone didn't work, but other herbicides did, especially on smaller weeds. Overall, the study found that some herbicides can effectively control these resistant weeds when used at the right plant height.
