New method using drones to determine river zones reduces land disputes.
The study analyzed problems with determining river zones under current laws, suggesting the use of digital elevation models for better planning. By comparing planned flood levels with actual terrain elevations, it was found that many river zone boundaries were inaccurately determined. Using drones for elevation measurements proved to be an effective method for determining river zones accurately. Implementing these findings can lead to more effective river zone determination, reducing complaints and improving land use near rivers.
