Uganda's Hydropower Potential Unleashed: Over 4500 MW Future Capacity Revealed!
Hydropower is the main source of electricity in Uganda, but its development is slow. The country has the potential to generate over 4500 MW of hydropower, but faces challenges like technical, economic, environmental, and social factors. The main issue is a lack of skilled people to handle hydropower projects. Small-scale plants are more common, but large plants generate more power. Solutions are needed to overcome these challenges and boost hydropower development in Uganda.
