This study looked at how digital technologies impact trade between West African countries. Researchers used different methods to study this between 2000 to 2018. They found that digitalization has a positive effect on trade in the West African region. Basically, when countries use digital tools more, they tend to trade more with each other. This means that if West African countries focus on increasing digital technology use, it can improve their trade relationships with one another.
