The article explores how awareness and the working environment affect the commercialization of research in Malaysia. Researchers studied 100 university lecturers in Penang who had published articles and commercialized their research. They found that as lecturers' working environments improved, the likelihood of research commercialization increased. This suggests that creating a better environment for researchers can lead to more successful commercialization of their work.
