The study looked at how Somalia's trade balance affected its economic growth from 1980 to 2020. They used data from the World Bank and African Development Bank to analyze this. The results showed that when Somalia's trade balance is negative, its economy tends to grow less. Also, high unemployment rates in Somalia are linked to lower economic growth. To improve the country's economy, Somalia should focus on increasing production, productivity, and exports.
