Natural coagulant from walnut seeds was tested for removing water turbidity. It was used alone and with alum in water treatment tests. The best results were seen with a dose of 3 ml/L and a pH above 7. The walnut seed extract improved the coagulation process and reduced the need for alum. It did not affect organic matter in the water. A model using walnut seed extract showed high efficiency in removing turbidity.
