Hydrogen is a versatile renewable energy source with different types like Blue and Green Hydrogen known for being eco-friendly. In ASEAN countries, hydrogen is not widely used due to high costs compared to other renewable energy sources. Research suggests that implementing technologies like CMR-SMR can lower production costs, making hydrogen more competitive. The study focuses on exploring ways to optimize hydrogen use in ASEAN countries by considering technical, technological, and economic factors to overcome current challenges and promote its broader application in the region.
