Researchers designed and simulated a tiny solar cell for smartphones to charge their batteries using sunlight. By adjusting the resistor value in the circuit, they achieved low voltage and power output suitable for charging. The results showed that with a specific configuration, the cell produced around 200mV voltage and 1.48µW power, making it feasible for smartphone charging. This innovative approach could provide a mobile alternative to traditional wall outlet charging for smartphones.
