The researchers tested different stocking densities of stinging catfish in ponds with carp in Bangladesh. They found that ponds with a medium density of stinging catfish had significantly higher fish yield, profit, and cost benefit ratio compared to ponds with lower or higher densities. The water quality in the ponds was suitable for fish farming.
