The study looked at how different types and amounts of nitrogen affect the growth of mung beans. They used a pot experiment with various nitrogen treatments, including chemical fertilizer and organic nitrogen from fermented soybean cake. The results showed that mung beans grew best with a specific amount of chemical nitrogen. Organic nitrogen improved grain quality. Mung beans absorbed more nitrogen from the soil at certain growth stages. Chemical nitrogen increased nitrogen use efficiency, while organic nitrogen helped Rhizobia and reduced nitrogen loss from the soil. Overall, using the right amount of nitrogen fertilizer can increase mung bean yield, and organic nitrogen can improve crop quality.
