The goal was to figure out what city shapes get really hot compared to others and how to make cities cooler. They looked at big and small details in cities to come up with solutions. By analyzing shapes and their hotness, they could offer ideas for improving city heat. The big study used math to connect city shapes to hot spots and the small study used maps to show different heat zones in cities. They discovered which city shapes are at risk of getting super hot and suggested ways to cool them down.
