The study looked at air and water quality in Madurai City, India using GIS techniques. They used different methods to estimate pollution levels and found that Kriging worked best. Data from 2006 and 2020 showed that pollution levels increased significantly, especially in Kalavasal, Arapalyam, and Periyar areas. The study suggests ways to reduce pollution in these areas.
