The article discusses a new method to predict software failures, aiming to improve the quality of software programs. By using a combination of selecting important features and a support vector classifier, the researchers developed a hybrid model for software reliability prediction. This model was tested using real data from the NASA Metrics Data Program and showed promising results in accurately predicting software defects.
