Wastewater treatment is important to protect the environment and use water resources efficiently. Different methods like physical, chemical, and biological treatments are used for this. In the Hakkari city center, where wastewater is currently discharged without treatment, a new treatment plant was designed and modeled using a simulation program called GPS-X. This study aimed to optimize the treatment process for the unique characteristics of domestic wastewater in Hakkari.
