The article assesses the role of the Russian parliament in the country's political system. By analyzing changes in the Constitution and comparing the powers of the parliament with those of the president, it shows that the parliament has less authority, indicating its subordinate position. The study suggests ways to address this power imbalance and increase the political significance of the Federal Assembly chambers in Russia.
