New Study Reveals Fenugreek Pods Key to Boosting Seed Yield
Researchers studied 48 types of fenugreek plants under normal and dry conditions to understand their genetic differences and how they affect seed yield. They found that the number of pods per plant is strongly linked to seed production, with less influence from the environment. This means selecting plants with more pods could help increase seed yield consistently. High variability was seen in all traits, but pods per plant and seed yield showed the most promise for genetic improvement.
