Stock price prediction is difficult, but important for building a strong investment portfolio. By analyzing past stock prices, researchers created efficient portfolios for five sectors of the Indian stock market. They used different methods to optimize the portfolios and compared their performance to a simple equal-weighted portfolio. The goal was to predict future asset values accurately and minimize risk while maximizing returns.
