Strong Capital Ratios Boost Financial Performance of Nepal's Banks
The study looked at how the amount of money banks have affects how well they do financially in Nepal. They used data from 26 banks over seven years. They found that having more money in the bank can lead to better financial performance. Specifically, having more core capital and total capital fund can help banks make more money. However, having more supplementary capital doesn't always lead to better financial performance. Overall, having a good amount of money in the bank can help banks do well financially in Nepal.
