Maximize workout results with linear regression for bench press exercises!
Linear regression models are the most reliable for determining force-velocity relationship parameters during bench press and bench press throw exercises. Five different models were compared, and the linear multiple- and two-point models provided the most reliable results for force-intercept, velocity-intercept, and maximum power. These models had higher reliability compared to quadratic polynomial, hyperbolic, and exponential models. For accurate and consistent measurements of these parameters, it is recommended to use linear regression models.
