The article looks at how people in Spain feel about the European Union's regional policy before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. They found that despite the pandemic, Spanish citizens generally think the EU has a positive impact on their daily lives. However, the pandemic also showed that individual countries still have a big say in EU decisions, rather than regions or EU bodies. This study used public opinion polls to gather these insights, which is a new approach for this topic.
