Childhood cancer survivors may regain fertility through cryopreserved testicular tissue.
Cryopreserving immature testicular tissue is a potential way to preserve fertility in prepubertal boys who may face infertility due to cancer treatment. Different freezing methods and cryoprotectant solutions are being studied to find the best way to preserve the tissue's structure and function. Current research shows that there is no agreed-upon standard method yet, and more studies are needed to determine the most effective approach for preserving fertility in these cases.
