Farmers in West Lampung Regency not ready for organic coffee certification.
The study looked at how ready farmers in West Lampung Regency were to get certified for growing organic coffee. They found that the farmers weren't fully prepared for the certification program yet. The income from organic coffee farming was around IDR3,741,918 per hectare, with the selling price being more profitable when sold directly to coffee processors. The farmers had three different ways to sell their coffee, with the first channel being the most profitable. However, most of the coffee was sold at regular prices instead of the premium price for organic coffee.
