New method ranks strategic projects based on shareholder impact.
The article presents a method for ranking strategic projects based on their impact on an organization's goals. By using a strategy map from the Balanced Scorecard, the method aligns projects with shareholder objectives. The researchers used a decision-making method called DEMATEL to rank projects based on their influence on strategic objectives. This method was applied to a manufacturing company, where managers found it very useful for guiding project implementation. The approach allows for evaluating projects in relation to the organization's mission.
