This article examines how greenhouse gas emissions in DPR of Korea changed from 1990 to 2002. The country's contribution to global emissions decreased over that period. In 1990, DPR of Korea was responsible for 0.5% of total worldwide emissions, but by 2002, this dropped to 0.2%. The total emissions by DPR of Korea during this time were around 1,503,820 Gg CO2e, which is 0.3% of global emissions. Despite the decrease, DPR of Korea did have an impact on global warming.
